The LegalTech Forum, the largest event in Poland dedicated to innovations in legal practice, organized by C.H.Beck Publishing House, was held once again in the capital city of Warsaw. The forum took place on April 11, 2024, and brought together experts, practitioners and industry leaders to discuss the latest trends, innovations and challenges of digital transformation and artificial intelligence in the legal world.

Among the speakers were prominent specialists who shared their insights on the future of the industry. The introductory lecture on the state of development of artificial intelligence was given by Prof. Włodzisław Duch of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. In turn, Prof. Przemysław Polański presented this year’s “LegalTech 2024 Report”.

Speeches and panel discussions covered topics such as:

  • Real implementations of AI – practical application of generative artificial intelligence systems in the work of a lawyer,
  • Legal Design – simplification of Polish legal language through technology, standardization of elements of legal workshop in the era of development of artificial intelligence,
  • The Law of New Technologies in Poland and the EU 2024 – new legal regulations (AI Act, Artificial Intelligence Liability Directive).

One of the speakers at the forum was Mr. Cezary Dołęga, Vice President of Neurosoft, who presented his own perspective on the application of LLM models (RAG algorithms) for automatic analysis of legal tests.
